The cheese board

Products

Slow-rise wedges, blocks and slices, squeezed into shape.

A cheese squishy is a soft toy moulded and printed to look like real cheese. You press it flat, and it takes a few seconds to come back — that slow return is the whole point, and it is what separates a good squishy from a stiff one.

Every squishy on this page is listed with its real size in inches and centimetres, its main material and its age guidance. No guessing from a stock photo.

  • Real size listed in inches and cm
  • Slow rise, 3 to 6 seconds
  • Collectible, ages 14+

About this collection

Cheese squishies, the whole board in one place

This is the full cheese squishy collection: every wedge, block and slice we sell, in every size, sorted so you can find the one that fits your desk, your bag or your pocket. If you are new to them, the short version is this. A cheese squishy is a soft toy cut to real cheese proportions — you flatten it completely, and it takes a few seconds to come back.

What actually differs between them is size, rise time and finish. Size decides where it lives: 5 cm on a keyring, 6 to 8 cm on a desk, 10 cm on a shelf. Rise time decides how satisfying it feels — three to six seconds is the sweet spot, and anything faster feels stiff rather than like melting cheese. Finish decides how convincing it looks up close, from the open holes of a Swiss block to the smooth edge of a cheddar wedge.

Every product page on this site lists the measured size in inches and centimetres, the main material and the age guidance. Some pieces are foam all the way through, others are a soft shell filled with gel or a thick liquid, so never cut or pierce one: on foam it ruins the rise for good, and on a filled piece the contents come out.

What is a cheese squishy?

A cheese squishy is a soft toy moulded and printed to look like real cheese: some are slow-rise foam, others a soft shell filled with gel or a thick liquid. You press it flat, and it takes a few seconds to come back to shape. That slow return is the whole point, and it is what separates a good squishy from a stiff one.

How do I choose the right size?

A 5 cm wedge fits a pocket or clips to a bag. A 6 to 8 cm block is the desk size, the one you reach for during a call. The 10 cm cube needs both hands and its own corner of the shelf. Because a photo cannot give you scale, every listing here carries the measured height and width in inches and centimetres.

What does a slow rise actually mean?

Press the squishy flat and count. Three to six seconds back to shape is the range that feels satisfying. Faster and the material is too stiff; much slower and it has usually started to break down. The pieces we sell are picked to sit in that three to six second range.

Are cheese squishies safe for children?

These are collectibles for ages 14 and up. They are not intended for children under 14: a squishy can be bitten and torn, which is a choking hazard. The age guidance is printed on every product page.

How do I clean and store one?

Wipe it with a barely damp cloth and let it air dry fully before squeezing again. Keep it out of direct sunlight, which fades the colours, and away from sharp edges and pet teeth.
