A Purple Cheese Squishy Wedge Tinted All the Way Through

The violet here is not a coat of paint sitting on the surface, it runs through the whole piece. Hold it up to a window and the thicker back edge reads deep while the thin point almost disappears, which is why the same wedge looks like two different colours depending on how you turn it. Scuffs and scratches do not show up as pale patches the way they do on a printed shell.

Why the 5 cm Size Suits a Pocket

At two inches along its longest edge this is the small end of the range. It disappears into a jacket pocket or a pencil case, and it is light enough that you forget it is there until you want it. You can work it with two fingers rather than a whole fist, which makes it the quieter option if you fidget during meetings or on public transport.

Looking After a Tinted Piece

Keep it out of long spells of direct sunlight, which fades a tinted piece faster than an opaque one, and clean it with a barely damp cloth. Ages fourteen and up: the material can be torn into small pieces, so it is not a toy for young children or pets. Read the detail on our safety page.

Material varies from piece to piece: some are moulded slow-rise foam with a printed skin, others a soft shell filled with gel or a thick liquid. Returns within 14 days. Ask for a return within 14 days of delivery, then you have 14 days to send the item back. Defects, damage and wrong items are covered by a prepaid label; if you simply change your mind the return postage is yours.
